Importfab

Established in 1990 in Montreal, Canada, Importfab is a pharmaceutical company with more than 30 years’ experience in the North America pharmaceutical, cosmetic and nutraceutical sector. Its core business area is the development, production and packaging of top-quality liquid, semi-solid and cream products for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and nutraceutical industry. It became part of the Labomar Group in 2019.

Labomar Next

Labomar Next Srl is the result of an agreement between Labomar Spa and Zero Srl, a high-tech company headquartered in Pordenone which designs and builds vertical farming modules both in Italy and abroad.

Thanks to the expertise and experience these two companies bring to the table, Labomar Next oversees projects to cultivate bioreactors: these are plants which active ingredients are extracted from, and then purified and stabilized so they can be used in nutraceuticals, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and food. The plants are cultivated using automated vertical farming systems manufactured by Zero Srl. Labomar Next Srl was established in 2019.

Welcare

Established in 2000 by Fulvia Lazzarotto and Franco De Bernardini, the Welcare Group is an outstanding Italian company which designs, manufactures and sells medical devices to prevent and treat infection and manage different kinds of skin lesions. It is headquartered in Orvieto (Terni), Italy and operates in 22 countries around the globe including Europe, the Middle East, South America and Australia. It became part of the Labomar Group in 2021.

Labiotre

Founded in 2011, Labiotre brings together professionals with years of experience in the extraction of medicinal herbs and the formulation of food supplements. Located in the heart of the Chianti region in Tuscany, it produces plant extracts using innovative techniques which are titrated in active ingredients with documented physiological action. It conducts exclusive clinical trials on specific extracts or fractions at the client’s discretion and request. It can also study the active ingredients of the extract from a technological point of view using the latest pharmaceutical techniques. Labiotre also produces bovine, fish and plant-based gelatin softgel, in compliance with the highest quality standards. Labomar Spa is one of the founding shareholders of Labiotre Srl and, in November 2021, it acquired the entire share capital, with a view to creating highly efficient supply chain integration.

LaboVar

LaboVar is a trading company specialised in online sales of nutraceutical products specifically chosen and produced by Labomar for the Chinese market. LaboVar Srl is the result of a partnership between Labomar, the majority shareholder, and Sesa Spa, through its subsidiary Var Group SpA. Thanks to the expertise of all those involved, the partnership is a strategic opportunity to enter the Chinese market, one of the largest in the world, with top-quality products and a business model that uses the main digital sales platforms, without the complications of opening a local branch. LaboVar Srl was set up in November 2021.
