THE COMPANY IN THE ECOVADIS ECO-SUSTAINABILITY RATING

After registering on the platform in 2022, Labomar was recently awarded certification by EcoVadis, the world’s leading provider of corporate sustainability assessments, which now has a network of over 100,000 companies in more than 175 countries.

The data provided during the assessment by the company, analysed and evaluated by Ecovadis according to international criteria (GRI, ISO 26000 and the Global Compact Principles), resulted in the company being awarded the silver medal: an important result for the first year of assessment in which Labomar participates and which indicates the beginning of a long path of improvement.

The equal distribution of the score across all assessment areas – environment, labour practices and human rights, ethics and sustainable purchasing – once again reaffirms the company’s commitment to environmental and social wellbeing.

The benefits of joining the platform, which allows the company to monitor the sustainability performance of its suppliers, are many: from the recognition of the reliability and efficiency requirements essential for signing a contract to the acquisition of new customers, strengthened by the level of CSR recognition achieved, and the adoption of a continuous improvement process thanks to an annual performance evaluation.
