Medical Device (class IIa) in spray for the treatment of sore throat and cough
Properties: Medical device for the treatment of sore throat and cough. FTPR 81 protects the throat and the pharyngeal mucosa from irritation, soothes the discomfort of the inflamed throat and calms cough, carrying out a soothing and protective action especially in case of cold. It creates a mucoadhesive protective film with a barrier effect in the throat, that reduces burning, pain and sensitivity to swallowing. Useful in cases of sore throat caused, for example, by pharyngitis or tonsillitis, also associated with cough. Useful as a preventive, for those who are frequently exposed to offensive external agents such as cold, smoke, smog, dust, as it limits t he conta ct with external agents and exerts a rehydrating action on the oropharyngeal mucosa. Given its high humectant action, FTPR 81 is useful for preventing xerostomia (dry mouth) in subjects forced to breathe only by mouth, such as in post nasal surgery.
Posology and instructions for use:
– Children from 3 years upwards: 2 actuations several times a day, as needed, up to a maximum of 6 times a day;
– Adolescents and Adults: 3 4 actuations several times a day, as needed, up to a maximum of 6 times a day.
Take preferably between meals.
Shake the bottle before use.
Warnings:
▪ If you do not notice appreciable results after a short period of treatment (7 days), contact your doctor.
▪ Do not take it if you are allergic, intolerant or hypersensitive to any component.
▪ Do not administer the product to children under three years of age.
▪ Do not use the product after the expiry date printed on the package.
▪ The expiry date refers to the product in its intact package, and properly stored.
▪ Keep out of the reach of children.
▪ Do not use for purposes other than that for which the product is intended.
▪ No side effects associated by used the device have been observed. If you notice the appearance of side effects, inform your doctor.
▪ Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
▪ Any serious incident that has occurred in relation to the device should be reported to the manufacturer and the Competent Autorithy. In case of any undesired event always seek for medical advice.
Do not use in case the package is not intact.
Store in its original package at room temperature, place away from light.
