Properties:

Medical Device (class IIa) for the treatment of cough and sore throat. It is useful for any type of cough, wet or dry  in children (3+), adolescents and adults.

With its unique composition combining honey, glycerol and a specifically developed mucoadhesive blend that adhere to the mucosa, forming a persistent protective film:

–              It bears a demulcent, soothing and protective action,

–              It reduces the discomfort of the coughing and the sore throat,

–             It reduces the discomfort of the coughing and the sore throat caused by the rise of acidic juices from   the stomach in case of GERD,

–              It exerts an emollient action,

–              It gives relief to inflamed throat,

–              Supports irritated throat mucosa

–              Reliefs / soothes dry cough

–              It limits the contact with the external agents/irritants,

–              It helps to ease coughing

 

Its ingredients form a long lasting mucoadhesive and soothing film that coats and acts as a barrier, it helps to protect the throat from the attack of bacteria and viruses and harmful environmental irritants; it rehydrates the throat and increases the hydration and fluidization of the mucus to help clear it more easily.

Posology and instructions for use:

• Children from 3 to 5 years: 5 ml 2 times a day
• Children from 6 to 12 years: 10 ml 2 times a day
• Adults and adolescents: 10 ml 3 times a day

Take preferably between meals.

Shake the bottle before use.

Wash carefully the measuring cup after use.

Close the bottle carefully after use.

Warnings:

• If you do not notice appreciable results after a short period of treatment (7 days), contact your doctor, in any case do not use for more than 15 days.
• Do not take it if you are allergic, intolerant or hypersensitive to any component.
• Before administering to children under three years of age, it is recommended that you seek the advice of your doctor.
• Do not use the product after the expiry date printed on the package.
• Expiry date refers to the product in its intact package, and properly stored.
• Do not use in case the package is not intact.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Do not use for purposes other than that for which the product is intended.
• Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
• No side effects associated by used the device have been observed. If you notice the appearance of side effects, inform your doctor.
• Since no data on use during pregnancy and lactation are available, its use is generally not recommended as a precaution due to lack of experimental data. Even if no side effects are known, it is recommended not to use the product during pregnancy or breastfeeding. In any case, consult your doctor before taking it.
• In the event of concomitant pharmacological treatment, although no interactions with drugs are known, it is advisable to consult a doctor before use.
• Store in its original package at room temperature not exceeding 25°C, in a cool, dry place away from light.
• Any serious incident that has occurred in relation to the device should be reported to the manufacturer and the Competent Authority. In case of any undesired event always seek medical advice.

 

The period of validity after the first opening of the syrup is 3 months.
