Medical Device (class IIa): Syrup for the treatment of dry and productive cough and sore throat.
Properties: Medical device based on natural extracts and glycerol, it promotes the hydration and expulsion of the mucus. It creates, furthermore, a mucoadhesive film with barrier effect that calms the cough protecting the upper respiratory tract. To use in case of productive or dry cough, it acts by calming the irritation and protecting the mucosa. The presence of mucilages and glycerol contributes, also, to protection the mucosa from the irritations and carries out an emollient and soothing action in case of sore throat. Useful in case of dry and wet cough associated also with sore throat or infections of the upper respiratory tract. The pleasant natural-fruit flavored aromas make it particularly appreciated by the whole family.
Posology and instructions for use:
• Children 2-5 years: 5 ml 2-3 times a day
• Children 6-12 years: 10 ml 2 times a day
• Adolescents and adults: 10 ml 3 times a day
Take preferably between meals.
Shake the bottle before use.
Warnings:
• Children: if you do not notice appreciable results after a short period of treatment (2,3 days), contact your doctor, in any case do not use for more than 15 days.
• Adults: if you do not notice appreciable results after a short period of treatment (7 days), contact your doctor, in any case do not use for more than 15 days.
• Do not take it if you are allergic, intolerant, or hypersensitive to any component.
• Do not administer the product to children under two years of age.
• Do not use the product after the expiry date printed on the package.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Do not use for purposes other than that for which the product is intended.
• No side effects associated by used the device have been observed. If you notice the appearance of side effects, inform your doctor.
• Expiry date refers to the product in its intact packaging, and properly stored.
• Since no data on use during pregnancy and lactation are available, its use is generally not recommended as a precaution due to lack of experimental data. Even if no side effects are known, it is recommended not to use the product during pregnancy or breastfeeding. In any case, consult your doctor before taking it.
Do not use in case the package is not intact.
Store in its original package at room temperature, place away from light.
Wash carefully the measuring cup after use.
Close the bottle carefully after use.
Any serious incident that has occurred in relation to the device should be reported to the manufacturer and the Competent Autorithy. In case of any undesired event always seek for medical advice.
